Anshu SharmaAnshu, the storyteller has 18 years of advertising experience. During this time he managed to work with every creative network on the globe and every discipline in Indian advertising before he found his calling in creative writing. His ability to switch effortlessly between left and right brain has won him many national and international accolades including Effies, Cannes and WARC. His work for Union Bank of India, Asian Paints and Saregama Carvaan is some of his most memorable work that rides on his unshakable belief; “Money is notional. People are emotional.” He took up film direction in 2015 for Asian Paints Colour Academy films, which have now become a case study in digital engagement and effectiveness as the brand recorded over 300% growth figures. He loves history, poetry, music, cooking and is an avid cross country motorcyclist. Apart from writing and directing for advertising, he has been consulting various film makers to help them position their next release. Sudhir Mishra’s ‘DaasDev’ and Avinash Das’s ‘Anarkali of Aarah’ are some of the projects he worked on.
